This module builds on knowledge relating to the diagnosis and evidence-based management of periodontal and endodontic pathology. It also looks at appropriate approaches to interpret results and devise strategies to enhance the delivery of periodontal and endodontic care.
Fixed and removable prosthodontics
This module covers both fixed and removal prosthodontics. This includes reviewing the necessary techniques required for examining partially dentate patients along with interpretation of the results and choosing appropriate approaches.
It also covers the biological and mechanical principles of prosthodontic care along with the techniques available for replacing lost teeth, using both fixed and removable prosthodontics with supporting strategies for the delivery of care to benefit both your patients and your practice.
Masters project
This final module aims to develop evidence-based dentistry skills through the completion of an evidence synthesis project. You will design, plan and undertake a review of the evidence relevant to your chosen field of study. This project work will produce outputs which are prepared to a publishable standard, clearly and concisely written, methodologically justified, with accurate and transparent reporting.
