Funding options
There are plenty of options available to help fund your tuition at the University of Plymouth.
You could be eligible for a student loan, but keep in mind that different countries have different processes. Below are some available resources depending on location. If your country is not on the list or you require extra support, feel free to contact one of our course advisers, who’ll be happy to assist.
Loans
Find out more about your funding options and loan eligibility depending on your location.
If you’re based in England, you may qualify for a Postgraduate Master’s Loan. Please visit the GOV.UK - Master’s Loan website for more information.
If you’re based in Wales, you may qualify for a Postgraduate Master’s Finance. Please visit the Student Finance Wales website for more information.
If you’re based in Northern Ireland, you may qualify for a Postgraduate Tuition Fee Loan. Please visit Student Finance Northern Ireland for more details.
If you’re based in the USA, you can apply online for a Sallie Mae private student loan. Please visit the Sallie Mae website for more information. If you apply for the loan, make sure to include our federal school code and our Office of Postsecondary Education Identification (OPE ID) number. You’ll then need to complete the Private Education Loan Applicant Self-Certification form and email this to us. We advise you to use Sallie Mae’s Student Loan Payment Amount Estimator to calculate your repayment options. This will help you get a better understanding of how much you’ll be able to borrow and how you can pay off the loan.
