About me

I’m a Lecturer in International Relations at the University of Plymouth. I also have experience teaching at the University of Birmingham, University of Bath, St. Bonaventure University, and Loughborough University.

I have a PhD in International Relations, an MSc in European Politics, a PGCert in Academic Practice, and a Laurea (BSc) in International Relations. I hold Senior Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy.

I’m also a member of the European Consortium for Political Research, Transatlantic Studies Association, Political Studies Association, and the Italian Standing Group on International Relations.

Research areas

My research interests include NATO, the EU's security and defence policy, and the Italian foreign policy in the post-Cold War period.
