About me

I have extensive experience in teaching, training and providing specialist level dentistry and have been involved in academic dental institutions both in the UK and abroad for the last 20 years.

My teaching experience and skills are largely associated with the delivery of postgraduate dental education. This has been either face to face or remotely through my involvement as lead for modules or course direction for various Masters and Diploma courses. My clinical expertise is in the management of congenital and acquired abnormalities in the tertiary care environment.

The modes through which I have taught include chairside supervision of treatment delivery at all levels, didactic seminar based teaching days, webinar lectures and examining at a specialist level for the Royal College of Surgeons, England. I have published over 50 peer reviewed papers and am the author or co-author of various books spanning the breadth of restorative dentistry.

Research areas

My research interests include the minimally invasive management of tooth surface loss with additive adhesive techniques through changes in the occlusion.
